Let’s start with the size. I’d say these Man U bags are in the ‘sweet spot.’ At 18 litres, they are big enough for your gym kit, laptop, or college books – without being bulky. They are made of a textured grey material, with a subtle ‘heather’ design. This gives a quality look and is not loud or brash. You can wipe spills off easily, and the darker bottom won’t spoil if you keep it on the floor.
The Manchester United logo is bright. This is placed in the lower right corner as you look at the backpack face-on and shines against the grey material. I like the size. This manages to balance the distinctive fans bag, while not being too big or crazy in design. The red outside zip goes vertically up the left size of the bags. Keeping this in Man U colours is a plus point – it would be a major mistake to have this in blue!
Features of the Man U Backpacks
On the outside you have adjustable straps. I’d say these keep the sizing fine for secondary-school age up to adult. There is also a carrying handle on top. Mesh pockets on the side work for drinks, or maybe a smaller umbrella.
The main compartment zip has overlapping fabric. This is a small and important detail. It not only looks smarter it stops anyone opening the bag easily while you have it on your back.
